Disability Scoop Links to be removed

Below is the email I received from Disability Scoop crying because I post a short blurb here with part of their article to help you the Disabled Citizen look for stories that might be of interest to you.

 Dear Mr. Dudley:

I am writing to request the immediate removal of all Disability Scoop articles republished on your blog found at http://ccfda.blogspot.com/

. While we appreciate you linking to Disability Scoop and our articles, we do not allow our stories or headlines to be copied word-for-word in whole or in part.

The Disability Scoop articles that you have republished are originally produced, copyrighted works solely owned by Disability Scoop, LLC. That said, the continued unauthorized use and publication of said content is a violation of federal copyright law and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

If by the close of business tomorrow (5pm Eastern, Tuesday June 19, 2013), the content has not been removed from your blog, we will not hesitate to pursue all remedies available to us, including legal action, to resolve this matter, as well as contacting Blogspot.com for further investigation.

Your prompt attention is greatly appreciated.

Disability Scoop, LLC

My prompt response:

I'll work on removing them as I get time but did you read the Blog Disclaimer? Oh and I will NEVER advise anybody to ever use your web site again for anything. How many years now have I been directing people to your web site for information on disability issues? How many referral hits have come from my Blog to your web site from how many countries and by repeat visitors and now you email me why? Because somebody is making your site look better by linking to it? Oh give this Disabled Disability Advocate a break!!! A Disability Advocate Agency online going after another Disability Advocate online? How ironic is that? Also I have in no way made any money in any way nor taken any money by back linking to your web site.

You should learn to read Fair Usage Disclaimers that are in place against people who are acting as you do. It is called sharing information. Welcome to the new media. Maybe you should hire a Programming Code Team that actually knows how to Program and Code to begin with if you do not want anybody to help share your oh so valuable information anybody can go find elsewhere on the internet. Who did plagiarize as of late? At least I have been nice unlike other blogs and given you all the credit plus a true link back to your web site and your articles.
I'll remove all of your links but I will take my sweet time doing it. I have a Disabled Fiance' and a Disabled Son to care after daily and they take first precedence before my internet life. You will have to wait your turn in line.
