No on street parking down town for the Disabled/Mobility Challenged?

With such a diverse City and Community as we claim to be why is there NO Mandated on street side parking on Broadway or it's connecting side streets for the Disabled/Mobility Challenged Citizen who have a legal Handicap Tag Hanger or plates?

Is this a huge oversight by the Special Business District?

Is it a huge oversight by City Hall and City Council?

Is it a matter of this community caters more to the non disabled but claims in the next sentence to be so diverse?

Is it we cater to the bicycle crowd too much?

Why is it after 20 years of the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act in a City and Community claiming to be so diverse we have NO Mandated Disabled/Mobility Challenged street side parking downtown or on it's side streets and those with Mobility Challenges who must use wheel chairs are often forced into the parking garages just like back in the days of segregation when some were told to go to the back of the bus.

Discrimination is discrimination no matter what form it comes in and it is illegal to discriminate against the Disabled/Mobility Challenged according to the ADA.

Special Business District and City Hall are you reading this? I certainly hope so and you begin to rectify this wrong you are allowing and saying at the same time to be so diverse.

I beg to differ.
