Join Supporters of Stem Cell Research on April 13 in Jefferson City

Missouri was one of the first states to protect a patient’s right to access future stem cell therapies — and we remain the state with the strongest protections! But to protect our access we must continue to show our support.

That’s why the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures is hosting HOPE Lobby Day on Tuesday, April 13, at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City. This is an important effort to communicate with legislators that Missourians from all walks of life support stem cell research and its potential to treat diabetes and other afflictions.

The day begins with a free lunch at noon at G2 Gallery, 102 E. High St., Suite 200, one block from the Capitol, followed by a brief review of how best to communicate with elected officials. At the Capitol, participants will gather in small groups and briefly visit with six to 10 legislators. Everyone is free to leave at their convenience.

Carpools are now being organized, if you’d like a ride. To register or for more information, visit or call toll-free 1-800-829-4133.
